How do I cancel my subscription?+
On iOS, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Serenova → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation prevents future charges; you keep Plus access until the end of the current paid period. You can do this at any time, including during a free trial.
I started a 7-day free trial — when am I charged?+
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly subscription renews automatically at $49.99/year. Apple charges your account within 24 hours before the end of the trial. You can cancel anytime during the trial in iOS Settings → Subscriptions and you'll keep Plus until the trial period expires.
How do I restore a previous purchase?+
Open Serenova → Profile → Membership → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple ID that made the original purchase.
How do I get a refund?+
Apple manages all refunds for App Store purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the Serenova purchase. If Apple declines, write to us at support@getserenova.app and we'll do our best to help.
Why is the price different from what I expected?+
Apple sets prices in your local currency for your store region. The in-app paywall always shows the price you'll be charged. If you've travelled, your prices are tied to your Apple ID region, not your current location.
Account & data
How do I delete my account?+
Open Serenova → Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data within 30 days. You can also email support@getserenova.app from the account's email address and we'll process the deletion.
Can I export my data?+
Yes — write to support@getserenova.app and we'll send your data as a JSON export, usually within a few days.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. Your data is stored on Supabase (a SOC 2 Type II certified provider), encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We never sell, share with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
I forgot my password.+
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot Password. We'll email a reset link to the address on your account.
Using the app
Daily affirmation notifications aren't arriving.+
Two checks: (1) inside Serenova, open Profile → Notifications and verify they're on; (2) in iOS Settings → Notifications → Serenova, ensure Allow Notifications is enabled. Background scheduling can take up to 30 minutes after enabling.
The Home Screen widget isn't updating.+
Open Serenova once to refresh the affirmation pool. If the widget still doesn't update, long-press the widget → Remove Widget, then re-add it from the widget gallery (long-press home screen → tap +).
The breathing audio isn't playing.+
Make sure your iPhone isn't on silent (the side switch). If you're on a Focus mode that mutes media, allow Serenova or change Focus settings. Inside the app, open the breathing settings sheet and check the volume slider.
